Dr Richard Dawkins FRS FRSL (born 26 March 1941) who is a well known British evolutionary biologist and author and an emeritus fellow of New College, Oxford, and was Professor for Public Understanding of Science in the University of Oxford from 1995 to 2008 is well known for his criticism of creationism and intelligent design as well as for being a vocal atheist. He is in the news currently for his 'Misinformed tweet controversy' accusing the Indian govt of 'removing' study of Evolution from school textbooks and then he went on to term Hinduism and Islam as being similar and idiotic and anti-evolution/unscientific.
